Bambi's Revenge was released in 1976 by a group of interesting people.  John Roope performed the frame-by-frame camera animation using his animation stand and specialized camera.  Norman Gibson was the key director/story teller and Ernest Geefay was the art talent.  Frank Wetzel, produced the film and performed the processing lab work.

John Roope has said that after seeing Marv Newland's Bambi Meets Godzilla, the group could not leave poor Bambi squished under Godzilla's foot.  Bambi's Revenge was the answer to Bambi Meets Godzilla.
